Si Jin is a Malaysian multidisciplinary creative, training in musical theatre under Monday Show School and a Sunway Diploma in Performing Arts graduate.
Most recently, she danced for lowercase labs x KSDC ‘s will you be my witness?. She co-devised ‘contract!’ – Howl’s Collective’s 24 Hours, and ‘Discord/Discard’ – YSDAF 2023 under Kelvin Wong. She often dances under choreographer Megan Chng, with multiple performances for singer Nikki Palikat. She stage managed Sunway DPA’s What It Takes to Be and Kelvin Wong’s Unsilent Mode Vol.1. She’s interned under Monday Show and CloudJoi.

Artist Statement
Performing arts to me is life’s most profound moments condensed into a collaborative experience amongst creatives, family, friends and strangers. Life goes by so fast that people leave behind their inner childs and I want to create pause buttons to remind people what it’s like to be human. Being an artist makes me treasure the nuances in living, things that my younger self would’ve discovered in wonder. Whether it’s acting as an islander in a musical or stage managing an intermedial theatre performance, I aim for audiences to feel that sense of relatable human nature.
